Housing Mission

Our Mission: To be a transitional housing program providing a Christian environment that helps homeless individuals or families become self-supportive and self reliant contributors to society.

God's Storehouse Housing Mission's primary focus is moving people from homelessness to self-sufficiency within 3 months. In exchange for free housing, residents are required by written agreement to have or get a job, work full time, save money, obey the statement of expectations and responsibilities, and attend any necessary classes in life skills, employment, budgeting, and counseling. In addition GSHM provides the following through a network of community support: food pantry, clothing, GED classes, counseling. Guests of GSHM will also meet with staff at least once a week to update their progress.
